Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily shelter operations, ensuring safety, staffing, documentation, and client flow align with trauma-informed practices. You will supervise CPSW Leads and operational staff, guiding coaching, scheduling, and performance management.

You will also oversee HMIS data, incident reports, census information, and policy compliance, while monitoring bed utilization and identifying gaps to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shelter operations, ensuring safety, staffing, documentation, and client flow align with program goals and trauma-informed practices.
• Supervise CPSW Leads and provide guidance to CPSWs and other operational staff while supporting coaching, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Oversee HMIS data, incident reports, census information, compliance documentation, and operational reporting.
• Monitor client flow and bed utilization, identify operational gaps, and help improve policies, workflows, and procedures.
