Job summary

The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is seeking a Shelter Housing Services Manager to oversee housing-focused services for guests at the Men’s Service Center and Center for Women and Families. You will supervise Housing Specialists, ensure timely, housing-focused case management, and drive performance, documentation, and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, public administration, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in homeless services, shelter operations, housing programs, case management, or related human services leadership.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Experience managing grant-funded programs preferred.
• Experience with HMIS/ClientTrack or similar database required.
• Knowledge of housing-focused case management practices and trauma-informed care.
• Strong documentation, audits, and program accountability understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of shelter operations.
• Supervise assigned housing specialists across shelters.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring; recommend promotions.
• Monitor staff productivity and address performance deficiencies.
• Conduct regular case staffing, coaching, and supervision meetings.
• Ensure HMIS/ClientTrack compliance and grant reporting.
• Oversee housing search, landlord engagement, and move-in coordination.
• Collaborate with landlords, property managers, and community partners.
