Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience supporting individuals, preferably in a homeless shelter or other client- or customer-focused setting.
• Must successfully pass all required background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MVR requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered support to adult participants through both short- and long-term advocacy, including assisting with shelter policies and responding to crises.
• Maintain accurate participant records, intakes, and incident reports in line with organizational standards.
• Connect participants with available social services and corps activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support Harbor Light Center initiatives and maintain a catalog of local resources.
