Job summary

Pine Street Inn seeks a Relief Guest Services Specialist to work on-site at 1 Lingard St, Dorchester, MA 02125. The role supports guests with housing pathways, connects to behavioral health resources, and ensures a safe shelter environment.

The position requires at least 1 year in human services, a High School diploma or GED, and a valid MA driver’s license is preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; hours vary and on-call coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Human Services field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to guests and maintain a safe shelter environment.
• Assist with housing pathway development and connect guests to housing resources.
• Facilitate access to substance abuse, mental health, and medical resources as needed.
• Enter data into HMIS and document reports according to agency policy.
• Make sound decisions and seek guidance from a supervisor when needed.
