Job summary

Pine Street Inn at 170 Morton Street in Massachusetts is seeking a Front Desk Guest Service Specialist to welcome guests, callers and visitors and connect them with shelter services, food, clothing, medical care and housing resources.

This 100% on-site role requires strong customer service, data entry into HMIS, and the ability to stay energized under demanding conditions. Schedule is 40 hours Tue-Sat 6:45 am to 3:15 pm; pay is $22.41–$28.00 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in the Human Services field.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, callers and visitors with information about shelter services and housing resources.
• Enter data into the HMIS system and document reports per agency policy.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment at Pine Street Inn Shattuck Shelter front desk.
• Coordinate with staff, vendors, volunteers and hospital/community partners to meet guest needs.
