Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Human Services, housing, or homelessness services preferred.
• Excellent organizational, assessment, and communication skills.
• Proficient with HMIS, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver’s license for travel between sites.
• Bi-lingual skills are a helpful plus.
• Strong commitment to ending homelessness with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals achieve placement into stable housing by connecting them with community resources, life-skills training, job coaching, and financial empowerment.
• Ensure compliance with shelter regulations while delivering client-centered support aligned with Housing First.
• Meet with each client weekly to evaluate progress and develop actionable strategies.
• Assist with housing applications, housing searches, job searches, budgeting goals, and obtaining essential documents like IDs and birth certificates.
• Conduct intake assessments, maintain documentation, manage client case files, and track program data within HMIS.
• Collaborate with Shelter Manager and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate supportive services related to mental health and substance use support.
