Dover Corp is seeking a Machine Operator II - Sheetmetal on the 2nd shift to support our Operations team. You will operate sheet metal equipment, read blueprints, measure parts, and ensure parts meet specifications. You will also perform basic maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a quick learning curve to support upstream departments with timely parts and accurate production output.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
• Proficiency with handheld measuring tools.
• Experience reading rulers, calipers, and gauges.
• Team oriented and able to communicate effectively.
• Adept at following written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal department equipment (brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, deburring machines).
• Fill part requirements to complete rounds for the kitting department.
• Read rulers, tape measures, squares, angle finders, protractors and other measuring instruments.
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions; interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling; monitor machine operations and adjust as needed.
