Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and schematics for metal fabrication.
• Ability to operate sheet metal equipment safely and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, and deburring machines.
• Fill all part requirements to complete rounds for the kitting department.
• Read rulers, tapes, squares, protractors, and other measuring tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
• Examine finished work pieces for conformance to specifications.
• Start machines, adjust controls, and perform trial cuts.
• Monitor operations and adjust to maintain specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
