Dover Food Retail is seeking a Machine Operator II – Sheetmetal to join the Operations team. You will operate sheet metal equipment, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet specifications on the 2nd shift. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential as you support multiple workstations and maintain production flow.

The role emphasizes quality, adherence to instructions, and willingness to assist with setup and maintenance tasks. Commissions may apply based on performance metrics.

Formación

• Operate all equipment in the sheet metal department, including brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, and deburring machines.
• Read rulers, tape measurers, metal squares, angle finders, protractors, and other measuring instruments.
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Use proper safety equipment for each operation.
• Start machines, adjust controls, and perform trial cuts to verify operation.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed.
