Dover Food Retail is seeking a skilled Machine Operator II – Sheetmetal to join our Operations team. You will operate brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, and deburring machines to produce sheet metal parts for upstream departments.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and work orders, measuring with rulers and calipers, and maintaining quality while ensuring safe, clean work areas. This role requires teamwork and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Proficiency with handheld measuring tools and accuracy in measurement.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving in a manufacturing setting.

Mansioni

• Operate sheet metal equipment (brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, deburring machines).
• Read rulers, calipers, tapes, squares and other measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and interpret blueprints/work orders.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling and ensure safe, clean work areas.
