Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Machine Operator II—Sheetmetal on the 1st shift to fabricate sheet metal components and support upstream departments with parts. You will operate brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, and deburring machines, and verify dimensions using rulers and calipers.

Qualifications

• Ability to read rulers, tape measures, measuring devices and blueprints/schematics.
• Proficiency with handheld tools and measuring devices.
• Team oriented and able to collaborate in a production environment.
• Willingness to operate various sheet metal equipment and perform preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate all sheet metal equipment (brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, deburring machines).
• Fill part requirements to complete rounds for the kitting department.
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions; read blueprints and work orders.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust for quality and conformance to specs.
