Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Read rulers, tapes, calipers and other measuring tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal equipment including brake presses, lasers, punches, sanders and deburring machines.
• Set up machines and perform trial cuts to ensure proper operation.
• Read and follow blueprints and shop orders for parts.
• Inspect finished pieces for conformance to specifications.
• Read gauges and measuring tools to verify dimensions.
