Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Machine Operator II for the 2nd shift in Keosauqua, IA. You will fabricate sheet metal parts, operate brake presses, lasers, and related equipment, and verify dimensions per blueprints and work orders.

You will read rulers and calipers, perform basic maintenance, and ensure a clean, safe work area while meeting production requirements. This is an onsite role with a strong emphasis on teamwork and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and interpreting work orders.
• Proficient with measuring tools and gauges.
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Team player with safety-conscious work habits.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal equipment including brake presses, lasers, and punch presses.
• Read rulers and tape measures to verify dimensions.
• Follow blueprints and work orders precisely.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Check finished parts for conformance with specs.
• Start machines, adjust controls, and run test cuts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work at multiple stations as production needs require.
