Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for the 1st shift in Wisconsin. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining various press equipment, performing make-ready tasks, and ensuring color accuracy and quality control throughout production.

The position requires thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, safety, and the ability to read job specifications. OT may be required; compensation ranges from $20.00 to $29.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Requires thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications and evaluate press capabilities.
• Skill to set controls and adjustments precisely and perform routine maintenance.
• Knowledge of packing pressure and print pressures for different jobs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain several press machines.
• Perform all make-ready tasks including hanging plates or installing cylinders.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain presses; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Follow manufacturer maintenance recommendations and perform routine upkeep.
• All other duties as assigned.
