Job summary

RR Donnelley in Monroe, WI is seeking a Press Operator 2 for the 1st shift, Monday–Friday, approx. 7:00am–3:00pm, starting at $25.00 per hour. This role requires setting up, adjusting, operating and maintaining multiple press units to meet quality specs.

Qualifications

• Requires thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications and determine appropriate press usage.
• Skill to set controls precisely and perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hang plates, install cylinders and check alignment.
• Make color corrections and adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate and maintain presses; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Complete periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
