You will perform routine maintenance, adjust tension and registration, and address plate and cylinder setup. The position requires knowledge of offset printing, precision tooling, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine press usage and materials.
• Skill to perform precise settings and routine maintenance.
• Experience with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Knowledge of packing pressure for proper printing pressure.
• Skill in using a micrometer to mount and align printing plates.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain a number of press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates or installing cylinders and checking image positioning.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain presses; replace worn parts as required.
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
