Qualifications

• Requires thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine appropriate press usage and settings.
• Skill to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on press equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates, installing cylinders, and checking alignment.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
