Job summary

You will set up, adjust, operate, and maintain gravure or offset presses to produce high-quality multi-color work and ensure precise color and registration. The role requires reading job specs, performing make-ready tasks, applying color corrections, and conducting routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Ability to set up, adjust, operate and maintain printing presses to meet tight tolerances.
• Read job specs and select press settings and materials for correct run quality.
• Accurate micrometer use to mount and align printing plates and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate and maintain gravure or offset presses for single to multi-color work.
• Review job specs to determine press setup according to run imposition.
• Perform make-ready tasks: hanging plates, installing cylinders, inspect plates for issues.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Clean, lubricate and maintain presses; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Follow periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturer.
