Job summary

RRD in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced press operator for 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM). You will set up, adjust, operate, and maintain gravure and multi-color offset presses to produce high-quality prints with tight color and registration requirements.

The role includes performing make-ready tasks, color corrections, and routine press maintenance. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with a pay range of $26.00–$43.00 per hour and additional shift premiums where applicable.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge to set up, adjust, operate, and maintain gravure/offset presses to meet color/registration specs.
• Ability to review job specifications and determine press setup according to run imposition.
• Performs make-ready tasks: hanging plates or installing cylinders, alignments, and prep.
• Makes color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Responsible for cleaning, lubrication, minor repairs and periodic maintenance of presses.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain gravure/offset press to print single to multi-color work.
• Review specifications and determine press setup per imposition.
• Perform make-ready tasks: hang plates/install cylinders, check positioning, prep blankets.
• Make necessary color corrections and press adjustments for quality.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain presses; perform minor repairs and routine maintenance.
• Follow manufacturer-recommended maintenance schedules.
