Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local safety regulations (OSHA).
• Excellent observational, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Program Development & Implementation: Create and sustain safety programs and site protocols.
• Inspections & Audits: Conduct routine safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Training: Design and deliver safety training for staff on hazard recognition and procedures.
• Incident Management: Investigate accidents and determine root causes.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain OSHA logs and incident reports; ensure posters are displayed.
• PPE Management: Ensure PPE is available and properly used.
• Emergency Preparedness: Coordinate evacuation drills and crisis protocols.
• Liaison: Act as contact between employees, supervisors, regulators (OSHA).
• Travel: Willing to travel domestically.
