Job summary

New England Sheets in Devens, MA is seeking a hands-on Safety Coordinator to develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety programs ensuring OSHA compliance and a safe environment for all employees.

You will lead inspections, trainings, incident investigations, and recordkeeping while coordinating with management to strengthen our safety culture and response readiness across shifts and sites.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent observational, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs, emergency action plans, and site protocols.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Design and deliver safety training for staff and new hires.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA logs, reports, and ensure posters are displayed.
