Job summary

Affirm's Workplace team is seeking an experienced Workplace Specialist II to oversee daily operations at our San Francisco headquarters. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional workplace experiences in a remote-first environment and reports to the Workplace Manager.

The ideal candidate has a hospitality mindset, strong operational skills, and a track record of coordinating with vendors, security, IT, and events to create a welcoming, productive space.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in workplace, facilities, hospitality or office operations.
• Strong operational and organizational skills with multi-priority management.
• Hospitality-oriented service mindset for employee experiences.
• Experience managing workplace vendors and project partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day workplace operations for our San Francisco headquarters, including janitorial, HVAC, repairs, supplies, snack/beverage program, and in-office events.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for building management and service requests.
• Manage relationships with local workplace vendors and monitor service quality.
• Respond to Workplace Support Portal requests and identify recurring issues to improve the experience.
• Partner with the Workplace Manager on office updates and ensuring timely completion.
• Collaborate with Physical Security, IT, and Internal Events to deliver coordinated workplace solutions.
• Support office activations and events, coordinating with internal partners and vendors.
• Maintain San Francisco Office Guide and policies so employees navigate the office effectively.
• Use feedback to recommend practical improvements for consistency and functionality.
