Arhaus is seeking a Sewing Inspector to join the Upholstery team in Conover, NC. The role focuses on inspecting finished products for seams, stitches, and fabric quality, ensuring adherence to specifications, and documenting nonconformances.

• Strict attention to detail is a must.
• Must be a Team Player with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must have your own reliable transportation.
• Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
• Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime.
• Must be reliable.
• Must have strong English language skills, including: Reading, Comprehending, Speaking, Writing, Communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of finished product to ensure quality standards are met.
• Inspect seams, stitches, and overall workmanship for defects.
• Measure Welt for correct length using a ruler.
• Ensure piece is sewn to specifications and flag nonconformances.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Manager.

Duties And Responsibilities

Perform visual inspection of finished product to ensure:

• ½ “ seams
• Stitches are straight
• Ensure there are no skipped stiches
• Ensure piece is sewn to specifications
• Ensure there are no holes or flaws in the Fabric / Leather
• Measure Welt for correct length using a ruler
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Working Conditions

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.
