Job summary

Arhaus is seeking an experienced upholsterer to hand tuft chairs and sofas in fabric and leather, delivering 100% quality in a busy Inside Upholstery department.

This non-exempt, full-time role runs Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime as needed in a heated and cooled furniture plant; you will read orders in English, use staple guns and scissors, and maintain safety and neatness while meeting production targets.

3+ years’ experience in furniture upholstery.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to transport frames to and from work area.

Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Must be able to walk/stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day.

Must be able to work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant which is heated and cooled.

Must have good vision.

Must be able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe/close-heal shoes when required.

Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
