Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a Fabric Inspector for TB Upholstery in Conover, NC. The role ensures fabric quality meets Arhaus standards before entering production and supports the receiving and cutting teams to maintain smooth workflows.

This hourly, full-time position requires 1 year of furniture experience and at least 6 months in quality inspection, with schedule Mon–Thu 6a–3:30p and Fri 6a–10a. Overtime may be required. Must lift up to 60lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Approve or deny fabric as it enters the facility in partnership with Receiving.
• Provide feedback to Manufacturing Solutions Supervisor and Cutting Supervisor on products and delays.
• Complete documentation on all products received.
• Escalate issues to appropriate personnel.
• Other duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Regular and predictable performance of job duties.

Position Details Job Purpose

The fabric inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of the fabric meets Arhaus standards, before introducing it into production.

Duties And Responsibilities

• While partnering with the receiving team, the inspectors will approve or deny the fabric as it comes into the facility.
• The inspectors will provide feedback to the Manufacturing Solutions Supervisor and the cutting supervisor on products received and possible delays.
• The inspectors will be required to complete documentation on all products received.
• All issues will be escalated to the appropriate personnel.
• All other duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Regular and predictable performance of job duties.

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

Qualifications Minimum Experience Requirements
