Job summary

City of Pasadena, TX is seeking a sewer maintenance worker to perform high-level manual tasks involved in the maintenance and construction of sanitary sewer lines and sewage plants. You will excavate soil, repair and connect sewer lines using hand tools, and maintain lines.

• Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record.
• Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying; kneeling, crouching and bending; pushing, pulling and reaching; standing for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform high level maintenance and construction of sanitary sewer lines and sewage plants.
• Excavates soil and makes sanitary sewer repairs and connections with hand tools.
• Repairs, cleans, and maintains sanitary sewer lines.
• Assembles and disassembles barricades and shoring equipment.
• Work with co-workers as a team; may be subject to call out after hours; shift work may be required.
