Daily tasks include reading maps and performing repairs with precision. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience, plus a Texas CDL Class B and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3 years related experience.
• Position may require moderate to heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
• Valid Texas CDL Class B and good driving record.
• Traffic Control I (Flagging).
• Utility Safety and Trenching and Shoring Safety Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform manual tasks with utility workers to maintain and construct sanitary sewer lines, water and storm drainage, streets and sidewalks.
• Provide leadership and assistance in overseeing excavation of repair projects.
• Assist in pipe installations and adjustments to ensure proper grade and alignment.
• Ensure traffic control and safety requirements are followed and assess projects.
• Read and use utility maps and drawings for daily repairs and maintenance.
