• Valid Texas CDL Class B and good driving record.
• Traffic Control I (Flagging).
• Utility Safety and Trenching and Shoring Safety Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads and performs manual tasks at a highly skilled level with utility workers for sewer/water maintenance and construction.
• Provides leadership in overseeing excavation of repair projects and maintenance work.
• Assists in pipe installations and adjustments to ensure proper grade.
• Ensures proper traffic control and safety requirements are followed.
• Uses maps and drawings for daily repairs and maintenance.
• Leader for crew in the absence of the crew leader.
• May be called out after hours; complies with city attendance policy.
