Job summary

Lemon Grove Sanitation District is seeking Technician I or II (DOE/DOQ) for its Public Works Sanitation Division. You will help maintain and repair the district's sanitary sewer collection system, operate CCTV equipment, and use a computer to enter data and generate reports.

Technician I requires little or no related experience and a valid California driver’s license; Technician II requires two years of experience and a valid Class B CDL with tankers endorsement after twelve months.

Qualifications

• Requires high school graduation or equivalent.
• Technician II requires two years of experience in general construction or maintenance.
• Technician I requires little to no related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, repair, and maintenance of sewer mains, laterals, manholes, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
• Operates CCTV camera and locating equipment for inspection and maintenance of sanitary sewers.
• Sets up traffic control devices and performs storm drain maintenance as assigned.
• Performs after-hours emergency response and possible overtime.
