Job summary

The City of Bonney Lake is seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker II to perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance on City facilities and utilities, including water, sewer, streets, and drainage infrastructure.

This role requires a valid CDL Class A, a high school diploma, and successful background checks; the successful candidate will work under Public Works supervision and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with three years related experience.
• Valid Washington State CDL Class A license.
• Successful passing of a background check, driving record, and drug/alcohol screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Washington State Traffic Control Flagger Card.
• Confined Space Entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of sewer, water, street, and drainage infrastructure.
• Operate a variety of equipment and light machinery used in city maintenance.
• Provide coverage during emergencies, snow/ice operations, and other unscheduled events.
• Support other departments as needed.
