Job summary

The City of Bonney Lake is seeking a Maintenance Worker II to perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance, operate equipment, and support construction, repair, and replacement of water, sewer, street, and storm drainage infrastructure.

This on-site role works under the Public Works Crew Lead and Assistant Superintendent, with duties including utility locates, sewer system work, and routine-to-complex maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A license required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• WA Traffic Control Flagger Card required.
• Confined Space Entry certification preferred.
• Competent Person knowledge preferred.
• Experience with public utilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance and operate equipment.
• Assist in installation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of sewer, water, street, and storm drainage infrastructure.
• Assist with utility locates for city and developer use.
• Respond to emergencies and assist other departments as needed.
• Follow safety standards and maintain quality workmanship.
