Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; six months experience in road/water construction or related work.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License with driving record free of serious or frequent violations.
• CDL with a Class A endorsement or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Valid Water Distribution Specialist I certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Flagger certificate and CPR certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanitary sewer and stormwater system maintenance and CCTV pipe inspections.
• Maintain stormwater facilities – ponds, vaults, detention areas, and related infrastructure.
• Operate maintenance equipment such as vacuum/jet trucks, excavators, backhoes and loaders.
• Respond to weather-related emergencies to sustain critical utility systems and transportation operations.
• Coordinate with other city departments and agencies for events or infrastructure issues.
