City of Aberdeen is seeking a Maintenance Worker II with a CDL to join the team for water/sewer utilities, stormdrains, building maintenance, and related tasks. The role involves operating company vehicles and equipment, with a focus on safety and independent work.

The successful candidate will perform a range of maintenance and repair duties, follow established procedures, and contribute to a clean, organized work environment. A strong work ethic and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid CDL with a clean driving record (required).
• Intermediate experience in maintenance and repair work (required).
• Ability to operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools (required).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various hand and power tools.
• Assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately and timely.
• Operate heavy machinery.
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal maintenance tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
