Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers seeks an educational assistant to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff supervision. You will assist in curriculum delivery for individuals and small groups, monitor progress, and maintain records to support IEP goals.

Title I assignments have specific educational requirements

Responsibilities

Assist students with classroom activities, adapting instruction for individual needs and ensuring generalization of skills.
Implement accommodations and monitor progress, reporting observations to IEP team.
Assist licensed staff with materials, tests, attendance, and classroom events (e.g., drills).
Provide support across Online/Remote Environment including synchronous and asynchronous learning.
Monitor behavior and reinforce positive strategies; assist with crisis de-escalation when needed.
Maintain records of progress and behavior in collaboration with licensed staff.
