Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe disabilities under licensed special education staff. You will assist with curriculum delivery, behavior strategies, and tracking progress, both in classroom and remote settings.

The role involves preparing instructional materials, providing technical care, and ensuring a clean, safe environment while maintaining records and following IEP guidance. Training on crisis intervention may be required.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• No professional work experience required.
• Title I assignments must meet one of the following requirements: two years of college or an associate’s degree or equivalent demonstration of knowledge in reading, writing, and math.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
• Prepare materials and assist with assessments and documentation.
• Provide supportive care and assist with online learning and technology access.
