Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff. You will assist with curriculum adaptation, skill development, behavior strategies, and assignment completion in classroom and remote learning settings.

This role involves preparing instructional materials, monitoring progress, maintaining records, providing technical physical care, and helping ensure a safe, hygienic environment.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma or equivalent required
• No professional work experience required
• Ability to modify curriculum for individual student needs (IEP directives)

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities, including adapting curriculum for individual needs.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with tests and attendance.
• Support remote/online learning activities and technology troubleshooting.
