Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools seeks a Severe Needs Para Educator to assist students with severe education needs under licensed staff guidance. You will support individuals and small groups, adapt curriculum, monitor progress, and maintain records.

Responsibilities include providing technical care and ensuring a safe, hygienic environment in both in-person and remote learning settings. The role covers Autism, BD, Homebound, ILC, SED, and Transition Programming, with emphasis on collaboration with the IEP

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency diploma required; education parity as noted.
• No professional work experience required or required depending on assignment.
• Two years of college or higher or equivalent qualifications for Title I assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs; daily tasks 35%.
• Maintain student progress and behavior records with licensed staff; daily 30%.
• Assist with materials, tests, attendance, and safety duties; daily 5%.
• Perform other duties as assigned; daily 5%.
