DebtBlue, LLC in Richardson, TX is seeking a Settlement Processing Specialist in the Quality Control Department to audit negotiated settlements and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

This in-office, full-time role requires attention to detail, ability to manage multiple negotiations, and communication with creditors to confirm payoff amounts and requirements. The position offers biweekly pay and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience handling time-sensitive financial tasks such as processing payments or reviewing transactions.
• Background in transactional or financial operations roles.
• Familiarity working with creditors, lenders or vendors.

Responsibilities

• Audit negotiated settlements for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Lock new settlements after audit and when requirements are met.
• Call creditors or third parties to process settlement payments.
• Process payoffs for active settlements when funds are available or payoff is requested.
• Confirm payoff amounts and requirements with creditors before completing payoffs.
• Request proof of payment for settlements as needed.
• Follow up to obtain requested proofs of payment.
• Manage multiple negotiations while meeting performance targets.
