Job summary

DebtBlue.LLC is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Specialist to analyze and resolve draft, audit, and transaction challenges in the best interest of clients and the business.

You will perform data entry in a high-volume environment, assist in underwriting and approvals when needed, and report to the Quality Control Manager. This role requires attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Experience with financial systems and CRMs is preferred; bilingual ability is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years in a financial industry preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Detail-oriented and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Research client files to identify transactional issues with payments and performance fees.
• Process requests from third parties related to creditor settlements.
• Contact creditors to reestablish agreements when accounts are sold.
• Process scheduled payments and audit for accuracy.
• Coordinate refunds or fee referrals with accounting.
• Support department operations as needed.

Job Summary

The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and resolving all draft, audit, and transaction challenges needed in the best interest of the client and business. This agent may also assist in account underwriting, verification, and approvals when needed. This individual will perform continual data entry processes in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and must be detail oriented and demonstrate accuracy. The Quality Control Specialist will report to the Quality Control Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Research client files to identify transactional issues with payments and performance fees.
• Process requests from third parties related to clearing, pending, cancelling, and modifying creditor settlement payments.
• Contact creditors if the account is sold to another collection agency and attempt to reestablish the previous agreement.
• Process scheduled payments of negotiated settlements as well as audit for accuracy.
• Send refund or referral of fees requests to the accounting department.
• Other duties as required to support department operations.

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED (required).
• 1-2 years' experience in a financial industry (collections, payment processing, mortgages, claims reconciliation) (preferred).

Skills

• Must be detailed oriented.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills to work effectively with others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Windows OS, and CRMs.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
