Job summary

Woodward Inc. on Loves Park campus is seeking skilled Operations Technicians for first shift on a new servo line. You will support production of servo valves, actuators, and fuel metering units, following documented procedures and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes precision, quality, and teamwork, with opportunities for growth and involvement in lean initiatives. Training schedules include 2 weeks of day shift onboarding followed by 4:30am–3:00pm shifts with overtime.

Qualifications

• Understands and follows basic technical instructions and SOPs.
• Identifies gap-to-standard and resolves/escalates per procedures.
• Demonstrates mechanical understanding and safe tool use.

Responsibilities

• Follows documented procedures to produce products using specified tools and equipment.
• Observes and logs key process variables to ensure quality and consistency.
• Performs inspections and tests to verify product functionality and records data.
