Job summary

Woodward Inc. seeks a Repair & Overhaul Technician I for the Loves Park Campus on AWS 2nd shift (weekends, 3:00pm – 3:30am). Training will begin on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm) for two weeks with potential schedule adjustments during training.

You will teardown, assemble, and test components like servo valves and actuators, following SOPs and quality standards. Ideal candidates show mechanical aptitude, strong teamwork, and adherence to Lean practices (5S).

Qualifications

  • Must follow documented procedures to teardown, assemble and test product.
  • Ability to interpret SOPs and work instructions with accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Teardown, assembly and test product using specified tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for analysis and work scope.
  • Maintain data per operating standards and record results.
  • Follow 5S principles to keep workspace clean and organized.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Support training of other team members and provide continuous improvement input.
