Job summary

Ecolab is seeking an experienced UX Lead to drive standards across the ServiceNow platform, own the design system, and lead a growing team of designers and developers. You will bridge product, engineering, and business to deliver consumer-grade experiences beyond the traditional ITSM mindset.

You will own the UX advocacy, establish formal UX practices, and mentor the team while writing production-ready front-end code in React where needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
8 years in UX and UI design, with lead or player-coach experience.
Experience with ServiceNow native UX capabilities including UI Builder and Now Experience Framework across workspaces, portals, and Employee Center.
Hands-on front-end development experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build production experiences.

Responsibilities

Own and document the UX and UI standards for the platform and drive adoption across teams.
Build and own a design system and component library to ensure consistency.
Establish design patterns, guidelines, and reusable components to raise the floor of every solution shipped.
Move the platform beyond an ITSM mindset to consumer-grade experiences.
Design and build experiences in UI Builder and Now Experience Framework; write front-end code in React.
Lead the UX practice on the platform from the ground up and mentor designers and developers.
