Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to design scalable, secure solutions across the enterprise. This senior individual contributor role partners with product managers, engineers, and platform leaders to translate business needs into technical architectures aligned with enterprise standards.

You will lead design discussions, review complex designs, mentor developers, and ensure long-term maintainability, security, and user adoption within a growing platform footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• 7+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, or solution architecture.
• 5+ years hands-on ServiceNow implementation or architecture.
• Strong ServiceNow platform knowledge (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog).
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, event-driven patterns, middleware.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across workflows, integrations, data models, UIs, security controls, and platform capabilities.
• Translate business needs into scalable architectures and practical implementation approaches.
• Produce architecture diagrams, designs, integration specs, and data flows for delivery and support.
• Lead solution design workshops with product, business, engineering, security, UX, and data stakeholders.
• Mentor developers on ServiceNow architecture, development practices, and integration patterns.
• Ensure solutions align with reference architectures, platform standards, and governance.
