Job summary

Suvi, an Akima company, seeks a Technical Writer to create and maintain documentation for ServiceNow platforms. You will translate complex IT concepts into clear user-facing docs and collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and SMEs across the SDLC.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, IAT II, a BA in communications, and 4+ years of documentation experience for IT systems. Hybrid/remote options are available.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
• 4+ years' experience composing and maintaining technical docs for IT systems.
• Translate complex technical details into clear documentation.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar platforms preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and organization skills for SDLC.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical, operational, and user-facing documentation for ServiceNow.
• Convert complex information into clear, usable docs.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, engineers, QA, security, PMs, and SMEs.
• Support documentation across the full SDLC lifecycle.
• Keep documentation current as capabilities evolve.
• Maintain documentation standards and best practices.
