Job summary

Suvi, an Akima company, is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and sustain complex ServiceNow capabilities for a federal program. You will deliver advanced configurations, custom development, APIs, and automated workflows aligned with governance and architecture standards.

The role requires 5+ years in ServiceNow development, strong JavaScript skills, and experience with ITSM/ITOM/CSDM. Hybrid/remote work options are offered; applicants must hold an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• IAT Level II certification or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software development or IT engineering experience.
• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience with scripting, configuration, and integrations.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and REST/SOAP integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and deploy ServiceNow apps and modules.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP integrations and data flows.
• Support CMDB, CSDM, ITSM, ITOM, and other platform capabilities.
• Perform unit and integration testing and resolve defects.
• Support release planning, deployment, and post‑deployment validation.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, testers, and government stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers and support legacy-system retirement.
