Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Lead for a full-time remote opportunity in the United States. This role provides hands-on technical leadership, solution architecture guidance, and delivery oversight for the ServiceNow platform, bridging business stakeholders and developers to drive platform roadmap execution.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of ServiceNow experience, deep ITSM/CMDB/CSDM knowledge, and a track record of leading teams.

Qualifications

6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow design, implementation and administration with at least 2+ years leading teams or projects.
Core Skills: JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, App Engine, REST/SOAP APIs.
Platform Breadth: ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, ITOM/ITAM/SAM, CSM or SecOps.
Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, ITIL v4, automated test frameworks (ATF).

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations, task planning, code reviews, and QA for developers, admins, and analysts.
Enforce development standards, scoping, and release management to minimize debt.
Mentor team on Script Includes, Flow Designer automation, and platform upgrades.
Architect end-to-end solutions aligned with OOTB functionality across core modules.
Design integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP, and MID Servers.
Manage CMDB class hierarchy, data reconciliation, and discovery schedules.
