We are seeking a ServiceNow Technical Architect responsible for designing the structure of our ITSM systems and overseeing programs to ensure proper architecture implementation.

The ServiceNow Technical Architect will join our IT & Software Asset Management (ITAM) Team, focusing on the implementation, configuration, and management of our clients' ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will be an expert in ServiceNow, with a proven methodology and best practices for implementing the ServiceNow platform and its modules. They will have a strong process definition background supporting ServiceNow implementations and extensive practical experience with deploying and maintaining these processes.

The Technical Architect will serve as a technical lead within project teams, primarily leading the deployment of the ServiceNow platform and its modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and ITAM, tailoring solutions to meet specific business requirements and outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Implement the ServiceNow Platform, focusing on ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and ITAM modules.
2. Support process definition, re-engineering, and gap analysis during workshops with key stakeholders.
3. Guide clients in maximizing their ServiceNow investment, including process improvements.
4. Lead technical aspects of project and solution delivery.
5. Provide technical leadership on best practices for ongoing ServiceNow support.
6. Oversee configuration and development of modules to meet client needs.
7. Collaborate with clients to ensure configurations meet requirements, including drafting user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and knowledge transfer.
8. Train and oversee client system administrators.
9. Support and consult on ServiceNow implementations and BAU operations.
10. Advise on process and service improvements for ServiceNow usage.
11. Ensure data accuracy and optimal use of hardware and software asset information within ServiceNow.
12. Identify and advise on resolving potential issues within client environments.
13. Stay updated on industry trends and new ServiceNow offerings.
14. Participate in client kick-off calls to gather requirements and system topography.
15. Support sales activities as needed.
16. Ensure timely delivery of work and meet KPIs.
17. Assist teams in managing project timelines and client expectations.
18. Develop into a resource for team members and regional sales teams, providing training and mentorship.
19. Represent SHI at conferences and industry events.
20. Contribute to achieving business objectives and driving ITAM initiatives.
21. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow products, certifications, and industry best practices.
