Job summary

OmniVista Consulting is seeking a Mid-level Portfolio and Governance Analyst to manage a federal IT portfolio in a remote-first role with periodic on-site visits in the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will own the ServiceNow SPM configuration data, maintain the portfolio register, and support governance boards with decision-ready materials.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in project, program, or portfolio support, IT governance, or business analysis.
• Experience owning portfolio or governance data directly.
• Experience in a federal IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portfolio register with ownership, lifecycle stages, dependencies, funding, and measures.
• Manage ServiceNow SPM data, fiscal calendars, templates, structures, and metadata.
• Prepare and validate fiscal calendars before planning cycles.
• Prepare decision-ready packages for governance boards and track action items to closure.
• Build and maintain dashboards covering portfolio health, product performance, security posture, and financial metrics.
• Administer end-to-end IT change management and risk registers.
• Document portfolio procedures to facilitate staff turnover and automate recurring reporting.
