The Role

As a Principal Solution Architect at Contender Solutions, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced architectural solutions for our clients. You will drive the development of new products, act as a strategic advisor for customers, and ensure that all solutions align with the company's business objectives. This position requires expertise in ServiceNow, a deep understanding of industry best practices, and a proven ability to mentor and guide less experienced architects.

Travel Requirements: This is a remote role within the Continental United States and will require 10% travel.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leadership & Strategy:

• Lead and mentor teams of Associate, Staff, and Senior Solution Architects to deliver solutions.
• Develop and maintain products supporting Contender Solution's business objectives.
• Provide strategic guidance on ServiceNow and other platforms, aligning with customer goals.
• Support and influence architectural direction of products and projects.

Customer Engagement:

• Lead customer workshops, ensuring technical and business requirements are addressed.
• Guide customers in adopting new products, aligned with their maturity and needs.
• Address complex customer questions, providing expert solutions.
• Lead product demos to showcase technical capabilities.

Technical Leadership:

• Design integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications.
• Create scalable and secure technical designs based on business requirements.
• Contribute to innovation through development of intellectual property.
• Oversee technical reviews to ensure quality standards.

Mentorship & Collaboration:

• Mentor junior architects, offering guidance and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth implementation.
• Participate in technical interviews for new hires.

Certifications & Continuous Learning:

• Maintain relevant certifications and stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in architectural design, especially in ServiceNow environments.
• Experience designing ServiceNow integrations with third-party apps.
• Strong record guiding customers through complex technical questions and product adoption.
• At least two Certified Implementation Specialist certifications.
• Expertise in ServiceNow, industry best practices, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Leadership experience in a tech company.
• Deep understanding of business process management and architecture.
• Proven ability to drive product development initiatives.
