Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in ServiceNow to design, develop, and implement an integrated IT support model for a government Sponsor in Chantilly, VA.

In this role you will modernize talent and human capital systems, support agile delivery with Jira, develop ServiceNow applications, and ensure security and RMF compliance while improving user experience and reducing O&M overhead.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret / SCI clearance with Polygraph (or Sponsor clearance eligibility).
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with ServiceNow.
• Experience analyzing and documenting web-based apps, databases, APIs.
• Experience interfacing with databases and developing reporting/analytics.
• Experience Agile with Jira.
• Experience using version control (GitHub or Subversion).
• Experience managing Tier 1–3 support workflows in IT service mgmt systems.
• Experience creating IT documentation (SSPs, SOPs, etc).
• Experience implementing accessibility standards (federal).
• Experience supporting compliance or performance management applications.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, maintain, test, and document ServiceNow applications and cloud services.
• Support Sponsor objectives for ServiceNow features and architecture.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, using Jira for sprint tracking.
• Conduct unit, functional, and UAT testing.
• Implement security, accessibility, and RMF standards.
• Recommend UI/UX improvements and reduce O&M costs.
• Adhere to document management plans for code and data.
• Oversee Tier 1–3 service management and incident resolution.
